Miranda Water Technologies and Rainmaker Holland Expand Global Water Technology Partnership
Miranda to Introduce Rainmaker Holland’s AEROS Atmospheric Water Generation; Rainmaker Holland to Offer Miranda’s Miracell® and MBR Wastewater Treatment Systems
This partnership brings together complementary technologies that address different water challenges”
PETERBOROUGH, ONTARIO, CANADA, October 14, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Miranda Water Technologies and Rainmaker Holland today announced an expanded commercial partnership to cross-represent complementary water and wastewater technologies through their respective international networks. — Michael Skinner, CEO of Miranda Water Technologies
Under the partnership, Miranda Water Technologies and its network of distributors and strategic partners will offer Rainmaker Holland’s AEROS atmospheric water generation technology in selected international markets. Rainmaker Holland will represent Miranda’s wastewater treatment technologies, including the Miracell® Rotating Biological Contactor (RBC) and Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) systems, supported by SmartCell™, Miranda’s intelligent control and optimization platform.
The partnership brings together complementary technologies spanning water generation and wastewater treatment, giving customers access to a broader range of sustainable, decentralized solutions that can be selected and configured according to local water sources, infrastructure requirements and operating conditions.
The relationship also expands the international reach of both companies by allowing each organization to leverage established market relationships and distribution networks in regions where the other already has a presence.
Expanding Access to Atmospheric Water Generation
AEROS is Rainmaker Holland’s atmospheric water generation system, designed to produce drinking water from moisture in the surrounding air.
The system is designed to produce up to 250 litres of drinking water per day under suitable conditions, with actual production dependent on factors including ambient temperature, relative humidity, operating conditions and system settings.
AEROS combines atmospheric water generation with integrated water filtration, treatment and storage. The technology is designed for applications including households, businesses, hospitality operations and remote locations where access to a reliable water supply may be limited, costly or dependent on external delivery.
By producing water at the point of use, AEROS can help reduce reliance on bottled water, tanker deliveries and centralized water infrastructure.
Through the partnership, Miranda intends to introduce AEROS through its existing international network, with a focus on markets where climate conditions and the cost or availability of conventional water supplies make atmospheric water generation a practical option.
Expanding Rainmaker Holland’s Water and Wastewater Portfolio
Rainmaker Holland will introduce Miranda’s Miracell® and Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) technologies to its customers, distributors and partners, expanding the range of decentralized water and wastewater solutions available through its network.
Miracell® is Miranda’s modular packaged wastewater treatment technology using a Rotating Biological Contactor (RBC) process. The technology provides decentralized biological wastewater treatment for applications including residential developments, commercial facilities, resorts, communities and industrial operations.
Miranda’s Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) system combines advanced biological treatment with ultrafiltration to treat complex and variable wastewater, producing high-quality effluent suitable for reuse or safe discharge. Its compact, modular design supports municipal and industrial applications, providing reliable treatment performance while adapting to changing wastewater conditions and regulatory requirements.
Miranda’s treatment technologies are supported by SmartCell™, its intelligent control and optimization platform, which provides automation, real-time monitoring and process optimization capabilities.
Together, AEROS, Miracell® and Miranda’s MBR technology expand the companies’ ability to address different water challenges, from generating water from atmospheric humidity to treating wastewater for safe discharge or potential reuse.
Complementary Technologies, Expanded Market Reach
“This partnership brings together complementary technologies that address different water challenges,” said Michael Skinner, CEO of Miranda Water Technologies. “AEROS expands our ability to serve locations where access to a reliable water source is a challenge, while Miracell® and MBR systems strengthen the wastewater treatment portfolio available through Rainmaker Holland. Together, we can offer customers a broader range of decentralized water solutions while expanding the international reach of both companies.”
“Adding Miracell® and MBR technologies to our Water Security Intelligence Platform expands the range of sustainable, decentralized water solutions we can offer our customers and partners,” said Joost Osterling, Managing Director of Rainmaker Holland. “At the same time, Miranda’s international network provides an important new channel for AEROS. With our shared focus on practical water solutions, this is a logical next step in our commercial relationship.”
The companies will also collaborate on qualified opportunities where combining their respective technologies can provide customers with a more comprehensive solution. This approach allows each organization to leverage established market relationships and local expertise while expanding the technologies available to customers across different geographies and applications.
The companies expect to begin introducing the expanded product portfolios through their respective networks immediately.
